
My third track is 3:26 and is a Jungle track and the BPM is 167

Patterns:
Serum is the main baseline and is a simple sine bass using two oscillators with mirrored sine waves panning left and right to make it thick.
(for some reason, I wasn’t able to make it hearable on Speakers, only Headphones)
Serum #2 wasn’t used but was going to be used as a pre-drop effect.
Serum #2 – Vanguard is the main chord’s that you hear.
Serum #2 – Vanguard #2 is the pluck synth you hear throughout the first and second drop of the song.
Pattern 5 is the sidechain.
Patter 6 is the Undersea Pad from the KORG LegacyCell VST and works to fill in the right spaces for the second drop.

Samples:
Boo Break was used as the end to each drum loop.
Enchanted Break was used as the main drum loop for the song.
Beta Break is the small high-passed hi-hits you hear layered underneath the drum loop.
Serum #2 – Vanguard is a rendered sample of the corresponding pattern and it is used in the second half of the track as both a breakdown and used in the second drop.
Massive Vox is the First Vocal Sample you hear at the first Drop.
Bad Boy is the Second Vocal Sample you hear halfway through the first drop.
Bad Boy #2 is used before the final Part of the song.
Physical Ssshh is used at the first drop.
Blue Water Spin is used at the first drop, along with Physical Ssshh.
Cosmik Rev wasn’t used.
Vine Boom Sound Effect is used at the final part of the song, just before the outro. (Yes I used this, someone dared me to)
Cinematic Boom is used along with Bad Boy#2 in the transition between the second build-up and the second drop.

Automation:
Param. EQ 2 – Insert 2 Band 7 freq and Param. EQ 2 – Insert 2 Band 7 freq #2 are both a Lowpass for the Serum – #2 – Vanguard Pattern and are randomised inside the Automation.
Param. EQ 2 – Insert 3 Band 7 freq is used as a Lowpass for the Serum #2 – Vanguard #2 Pattern.
Param. EQ 2 – Insert 3 Band 7 freq #2 was going to be used as a Lowpass but wasn’t added/used.
Balance 1, 2, 3 are all used as Automated Sidechain for all Main Channels that aren’t drums.
Delay 3 – Mix level was used along with the Massive Vox in the first transition.
ValhallaVintageVerb – Insert 11 – Decay is used alongside with the first Bad Boy sample before the first drop.
ValhallaVintageVerb – Mix level is used along with the first Bad Boy sample before the first drop.
ValhallaVintageVerb – Insert 11 – Decay #2 is used alongside the second Bad Boy sample before the second drop.
ValhallaVintageVerb – Mix level #2 is used along with the second Bad Boy sample.
Param. EQ 2 – Insert 10 – Band 7 freq is used as a lowpass for the Enchanted Break sample and is used at the breakdown before the second drop.

Everything Used.
Evaluation: I could have definitely mixed the bass right so then it could actually be heard in the track when listening through Speakers.
I could have used more Down-lifters and FX in the song.
It would have been a good idea to extend the second drop but I was tight on time so I made it work.
would have been a lot more interesting if I used more effects and plugins.
