model.

i used a performing arts student at college to be my model i did this by messaging her and asked if she had had a patch test prier the assessment and she had said yes and i asked her to come at 1:30pm on the 9th of October.

i asked her if she had any allergies and if it was ok if i could touch her face and she said that it was fine so i proceeded onto starting my assessment, i first sanitized my hands and placed a gown so no products go on her clothes and headband so her hair is out of her face. i then prepped the skin with cleanser, toner and moisturizer.

then i started of by using the bruise wheel with the colours purple, blue and green around the contours of the eyes to make them look sunken in, i used these colours on the ears, neck, forehead, cheek bones, nose and chin to make the contours of her face look sunken in as well. I then used a illustrator palette to make the more prominent veins on my model to look enhanced and like their is no blood their at all.

I went onto setting everything with translucent powder and to make the face look sheer and ghostly. I moved on to the hair were I back combed the ends of the hair and applied dry shampoo to make the hair look scruffy and dry.

something I will work on next time is to make the veins more diluted by using ipa and to make the hair last longer then it dropping out.
