history on theatre make up:
theatre make up came from Greece and was used by the first greek actor Thespis in the 6th century where they would use masks to cover there faces to enable the to play multiple actors without having to change there make up or give it adjustments. but in Asia they preferred to use makeup instead of masks so they could show there facial expressions.
