event management definition –
Event management is the application of project management to the creation and development of small and/or large-scale personal or corporate events such as festivals, conferences, ceremonies, weddings, formal parties, concerts, or conventions.
lighting and sound –
– My role with lighting and sound includes making sure the audio is correctly setup in the right input, and output, in terms of mixing, and balancing each instrument, as well as making sure the volume is appropriate for the bands, but also the audience.
Before –
number one priority would be to familiarise myself with the setup and powering up of the equipment , as-well as the mixing and balancing of instruments.
know what instruments go where and figure out where the inputs and outputs go exactly.
During –
make sure the volume is correct from an audience point of view
optional – make sure the right lights are on for specific band if they want it
