Aim – To write and produce an electronic single using Ableton with accompanying artwork to be released on sound cloud. I will also rehearse and record live drums for this single.
objectives :
- Listen to some music (electronic) (drum n bass) (dubstep) (ambient) and get some inspiration.
- Research specific musicians (Daft punk) (Aphex twin) (Skrillex) (The prodigy) and techniques they’ve used to produce.
- Experiment with sounds specifically modular synth programs.
- Create a bass line, a melody, and chords using the synthesisers.
- Research break beats, and create a drum part.
- Record the drums and experiment with them in Ableton.
- Mix the parts together, and create a structure.
- Mix the track and configure automation.
- Master the track.
- Create cover art for the single.
- Release onto Sound Cloud.
