Lewis said – “do you have a friend to do this with you”, ” I don’t know about the demographic I don’t think everyone is going to enjoy listening to teenage love or sneaking out with girls you know you know especially people who are a bit older you know it looks like its kind of a teenage market to mid young kind of twenties its probably not going to suit anyone over thirty’s or forty’s definitely not, so your going to need to refine that down a little more.”
MY RESPONSE
I am going to be doing his with a friend who is coming to college in the summer I chose him because it will help him ease into what it’s like in college and I find him more comfortable working with someone I knew for a long time.
This was a point that I don’t think you got the main thing I was talking about with the demographic was that it’s obvious that a baby isn’t going to listen to the song and question me about its key or cadence or what the song means but for the kids that can comprehend music can listen to it and think about the life they will expiries and for the older generation who will listen to it and think of it as a cheesy love song which is what it might sound like but the lyric would have meaning that will probably remind them of their teenage years with their first love or there best friends braking curfew and having fun like going to the park or in the woods you know the sentimental value.
Nick said – ” Needs quite a lot of detail behind the proposal process and development of the idea obviously I think the actual concept you were quite detailed about, in terms of the concept of the song and the video I thought that was really good, but it needs there are lots of different areas of this project that need developing, so ill give you an example just to sort of when you mentioned ill be using live instruments, ill be using software we need to be specific about you need to make decisions quite early on ideally you need to be making decisions quite early on, which instruments your going to be composing for? you know what style of music? what software are you going to be using rather then just saying software what is the software at home or in college how are you going to recode the songs how are you going to be videoing and editing it and putting it all together so i think a very liable idea a very doable idea and i think its something you’ve shown you know skill in, in terms of the song writing and you know that project we did I haven’t seen your video editing skills before but there’s no reason why you cant excel in, it need’s a lot more development so going through the points on your digital space and fleshing it out to a proposal form, the concept is good the idea is good its all do ale small doubts about using someone outside of college but that’s fine if its not going toward there coalification there final grade how are you going to know if he’s committed and not going to drop off at any point that’s a real concern using someone you’ve maybe worked with before within the past or on the on the same course or in college it’s going to be easier it will definitely make your life more easier and more reliable.”
MY RESPONSE
The presentation for me was a disaster my message was not seen and few people didn’t get it but I think I should have explained it a little better and added some more slides. The live instruments I will be using are a Ukulele and a Guitar whether it might be electric or acoustic we haven’t decided yet but on Monday 8th me and my friend will decide that since that is when the project starts and I can write down or record our processes like a “how I made” video, the music software I will use are Garageband and the audio will be audacity I haven’t thought about editing software but it shouldn’t be too had to find some and the recordings will be shot on a phone or a friends camera still up in the air about the music video since it was short notice since a single won’t be enough I had to think fast to see what I could do but I could work with some art designers and make a 3D loop to put the audio in front of. the type of music will be a love ballade.

That will improve in the future I am not thinking of repeating what I did in that presentation any time soon.
