Mock Reflection

(Out of the two-song this will be focused on the second song because it is finished and will be displayed on the showcase)

When I started the second song there was only a couple of weeks left of the project and closing fast I had to be quick when writing and producing this song, but I still had control over where I was taking this song I wasn’t rushing this song to get it down I was also listening to it and replacing anything. I needed to make this song act as a second song, not a replacement for a failed idea but something I am proud of.

That was before many changes and before the mix of this song but still, at this point, I am proud of this song and like the direction I am taking it, there are many problems with it at the moment but nothing I didn’t see and replaced and perfected the song, with many times of tormenting Barbora to record a new vocal or to try different harmonies she did everything we directed her to do and she did them to the best of her ability which was all we needed and its thanks to Barbora and many others that we have a finished song.

There were many times I and other producers butted heads whenever we wanted to take something out or change a melody, which was my strong suits so I definitely had something I wanted to say about that, but I am happy we did have those discussions on the song because I know that we had the best interest of the song in mind when talking about what stays, go’s or needs tweaking now there’s nothing I would change about the song.
