Initial ideas

These are some Ideas I have for the final project.

  1. I have access to free software and a midi keyboard so I will be able to make my own music when it comes time to make my own final project I can always do that, I have some experience when making music so this can be a really easy and less worrying rout to take.

2. Because of the free software, I can also produce someone else’s songs as a final project idea if I wanted to go in that direction or just do it to better my skill, I don’t have as much experience as I do with the producing one but it won’t hurt to try

3. I could go to a completely different direction and make game music I did this for a GCSE and got the GCSE for it but never really thought about doing it for a final project but I can always keep it to fall back on if all else fails

4.

These are some ideas I thought about but some don’t feel so practical with the current restrictions but they are some of the things I thought about.

PREER FEEDBACK

– What software do you have, is it professional can you produce high-quality work on it? What kind of music would you make? What have you made before? How could you challenge yourself and put yourself outside of your comfort zone to create something that pushes you?

– What skills do you have in production? Is this something you could learn to a good level quickly? It would benefit your skill level and challenge you to work in a new way. Who might you work with? Do you have the facilities to do this?

– How confident are you at composition, how well did you do in the songwriting/composing sessions? Is this something you would like to develop? Are you passionate about this or is it something as just a backup? Again how could you challenge yourself?

MY RESPONSE

– The software I use is called Garageband it isn’t as professional as its predecessor Logic pro but it has some quality than most free software out there. I would make more pop music than any other because in garage band there isn’t a lot to make rock music or anything involving a guitar without an audio interface which I don’t have and I have already made pop music and know how to make it. I could make something I haven’t made before like jazz or blues something I am not that good at playing.

– I have done some producing work when I was doing my GCSE work, I would like to work with someone who wants to make a song I would like to be the guy behind the scenes that makes the song go full circle and sounds to a good quality to make it sound like a professional has made it not some college kid, I have some good software and good ideas to look at a song.

– I have had my fair share of songwriting sessions and songwriting sessions and would say that I am kind of good at it, I am passionate about anything I invest time into it but it wasn’t the first choice is what I was trying to say I would like to make a pop song, not jazz or blues but I will if I have too.
