for the last couple of weeks, we have been doing project three but instead of doing what we were meant to do we had to do an online course of songwriting where we had to go into a group of 3 people where one came up with chords and the melody the other came up with the lyrics and harmony while the other one had to produce and recorded the audio.
At first it was quiet an easy task because the Guitar part i did was something i was working on as my own thing at first but used it to help speed up the process with writing the song which was are main concern, Faith did a good job in writing the song which happened for this was what we did for a couple of weeks until Faith came up with some lyrics to fit the sound of the song and Edgars tried making a piano part for the song but didn’t bother making it or putting it in the song
After Faith wrote some lyrics I had to re-record the guitar part to fit in a structure and for Faith to record it in time so a lot of the time I had to use a metronome to keep me in time so I made sure that faiths vocals could fit in time.
For the first couple of weeks things were going pretty good we did a lot of the song in the first few weeks so we had time to go back and make sure that we made a pretty good song and I think we were all happy about it it did take some time to think through when I heard everyone else’s I felt a little confident because I thought we did better in my opinion and I think we only needed a lead and so the next week I made one but we never had time to put it in the song so we had to make do with what we did.
