DAILY EVALUATION
Monday – On Monday, we had our final showcase Mock at Kala Sangam the set-up was fine but it took some time to find out what everyone needed and how we were going to set the stage and where everyone was going to be and where the cameras would film.
Wednesday – On Wednesday, we arrived at Kala Sangam at two we set up and had a run through and in the evening we had the showcase in front of live spectators everyone was terrific and the audience love it.
Thursday – After the night Nick said that because of the showcase we had that morning off and if we wanted we could go in in the afternoon, I didn’t bother instead I stayed home and looked through my work to get ready to write my final evaluation
EVALUATION
My song was ready I had finished the animation with Paul and the music was synced with the animation, But over the weekend I felt different about the whole thing. I think it was the crowd presents that really put me off or that the song wasn’t good enough to be heard and if it did I would be the wrong person to know so I didn’t have my song present for the final show case. So I opted that only Nick can listen to it and anyone who was the link which is a select group of people.
JOURNAL
Over the weekend I was having second thoughts about the whole thing and I reached out to Nick and messaged him to say that I didn’t want to take part in the showcase and he understood and agreed.
On Monday we all arrived at Kala Sangam for a mock run through everyone was amazing some technical difficulties and obviously nerves but all that aside they were great really showing their enthusiasm.
Wednesday was the day of the big showcase but before performing in front of the crowd they had a quick run through and it was perfect. I didn’t show for the actual performances I thought that I was a waste of space and wasn’t needed when someone’s parent could sit and support their child other than me so I thought it best to leave but I asked around and saw the video and go told it went really well I’m proud of them all they all have more nerve then I do so a big well done to them.
In Thursday’s lesson, Nick gave everyone the day off and I ended up taking the day after the week and months of doing this project ready to put the work in next week and finish my written work.
