Collaborators

At the start of this project, I wasn’t really fond of disrupting people to make them sing or play on my song because I always felt selfish even though I can practically do everything on the track myself without collaborators, except singing but I do have some friends who can sing luckily so I thought about using them as collaborators and also my friend who can play the guitar better than me and understands the lead role so he was a no brainer as a person who I would call to come up with a lead part and record it down. At one point in the first song, I wanted someone to come and sing on the first song which is now an instrumental song but I had a friend who liked the idea and the concept of the song. I invited him to sing on the track but I inevitably changed nearly everything about the song so I opted to change and make the second song.

In the second song I still had the idea of the first song is my main song and one that would be put on the showcase, but when I went back to the song after spending too much time on the second song I knew I was closer to finish on my second song then my first so I changed the first song to an instrumental and deleted the vocals and guitar solo and rhythm from the song and made it more of a spaced-out type of song with synth leads and some synth PAD for texture. To fix the song so on the second song Ben persuaded me to invite Barbora from the second year to make a feature on the song and sing on the track which gave the song more feel and I like the second one more than the first because of her feature.

It is a shame that the first song didn’t make it because I had that one planed out before the project started, so I wish I could go back and make it right and what I thought it would be like but I like where it is now it was unexpected to where it sounds like now but it’s finished now so its for the better it turned out for the better.
