Chords

The chords in the song are supposed to signify I type of warmth when listening to it because the type of song I am aiming for is for it to sound like a campfire song and I think with these chords I have made it sound like it.

The chords I used wasn’t really by design I got the idea of the type of sound I was looking for when I looked at slow romantic music so when looking at there chords I was looking for had to start with a 7th so looking for the right chord was a good start so I decided on Cmaj7 and then I want from there to add some emphasis on the next by playing A major twice then finishing on F major and to make the chords full circle I finished it on G7 then going back to the Cmaj7.

The way it sounds makes it sound like a perfect cadence because the key of the song is Cmajor so naturally, it has to end on the 5th note in the scale to make it a perfect cadent if it would end on the 4th it would be plagal which I am proud of so I did take from music theory and didn’t wing the whole thing and did take time in that the music theory behind the thing.

It was after watching a video on how the song that inspired me was made, it was then when I picked up my ukulele and played around with random chords trying to find that specific chord and then from there it was just working from chord to chord.
