{"id":4683,"date":"2025-05-15T13:49:54","date_gmt":"2025-05-15T12:49:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10633466\/?page_id=4683"},"modified":"2025-05-16T00:32:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-15T23:32:27","slug":"promo-video","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/digitalspace.bradfordcollege.ac.uk\/10633466\/promo-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Promo Video"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I got this idea to promote the gig further and come up with something creative instead of just constantly posting the same poster every time.<br>So I made a promo video in the style of 2000s iPod adverts.<br>At first, we wanted to have students playing instruments such as guitars, bass and drums, but we couldn&#8217;t do that due to not having enough time and some of the students didn&#8217;t want to be in the video.<br>In the end, we got Jaheim and Sukhbir along with some of their friends to be in the video.<br>While filming the video, we scrapped the idea of playing instruments and told them to dance. I used Adobe Premiere Pro 2021 to make this video.<br>In the program, I added every shot we got from the day and looked through each one to pick out which shot I wanted to use in the video.<br>I then used chroma-key, which is a tool used to remove the green screen, then I used a tool called tint, which is the tool used to black out people and turn them into silhouettes. I did this with each shot. I then later added the green colour like in the ipod adverts. The colour I used is the same one used in the Charlie XCX album brat. There are still visible lines from the green screen curtain. I tried fixing it in the chroma key setting to remove all the shadows and increase the contrast so that the green could pop out. Another point I would like to improve on is having something more related to the gig and the music course.
