This is a mind map we did as a class. We pointed out subject specific skills like music theory, mixing/mastering and then we pointed out transferable skills that we can use everywhere, skills like having confidence, good communication and leaderships skills.
My main strengths here are that I can very quickly learn a song I want to play.
I do this through watching tutorial videos from Guitarlessons365Songs. If he has the song I want to play but he pretty much has a verity of songs from bands, For example I learned how to play Silver by Gojira which has a some was hard solo. The solo it self is a tapping solo and I managed to learn that after a few days of practicing and learning how to use a pick to tap.
My main weakness here is time management. I feel like I will get too focused on one thing and forget about the other because I will be doing two things this upcoming project .
1 is playing in a band and cover 5 song the other is to make one metal cover of a popular 80’s song.
For the band I will be playing bass which I’ve only played bass since project 1 but I’m at that point where I feel comfortable to play bass on stage.
