The strengths for this demo is the structure and the chords I used.
The song is in C# scale and the chords for the verse I used are G# E C#
and the chorus is E F# C#.
The main thing I need to finish for this track is adding the Melody and Lyrics
I didn’t get time to come up with lyrics but I did come up with describing what the song is going to be about.
Also I will be adding a new drum track to the final song.
I have created some record sleeves/Artwork for the song in graphics with Paul.
I will be releasing the song on youtube when the song is finished.
I have used Ableton to record this demo because it has better guitar tones than Logic also for me it was just easier to use Ableton.
I used a Behringer UMC-22 to record my guitar and bass and to get the tones I used a Neural DSP plugin.
I also levelled out the volume and I have also doubled the bass and guitar with different tones an panned them out.
I just wanted the song to have a verse and a chorus just like Ramones and misfits. simple and catchy.
The research is mainly all of my knowledge from the Dantes Inferno game and movie.
I have made some art work in the style of Misfits and added some themes from Dantes Inferno.
I haven’t experimented with any other sounds but I think I will add a piano in if I have added a melody into the final song.
Technology has contributed a lot to making this demo from recording to Guitar tones and programmed drums.
To perform this song live I wold need a band consisting of 3-4 members a Singer, Guitar, Bass and Drums maybe a piano when I add a piano part with heavy synths.
