For the Logic composition we were given videos to pick from and make music for it. I have chose an Industrial German subway and the music that will go with this video will be Rammstein inspired. So will be using a lot of synths and heavy guitar riffs in Drop D.
These 2 Rammstein songs inspired me into making this track to go with the video
This is what I have so far, I have added a simple but heavy guitar riff and a programmed drummer. Also I have added some choir synths using Alchemy.
First time trying out alchemy. I used this plugin to get that German disco synth because Rammstein are famous for using synths in their music and I wanted to recreate that with my melody.
I used a programmed drummer because I’m not that good at coming up with drum beats and I also wanted something on the heavier and louder side to get that Rammstein tone.
I’ve added a lot of sounds to it but I think its just too much and too repetitive.
I have added a police siren but it just didn’t fit in with the video so I just ended up removing it and making a whole new track.
