This is the final mix of the song. I feel like I did a really good job with the mix. This might be my best mixing I have done because it took me the whole day to mix with the help of the Lukass and Evan giving me some tips on how to make the drums sound exactly like I wanted them to sound.
I wanted the drums to sound like Metallica Master Of Muppets album with the kick sounding powerful.
I have made Lacey sound like she is sing through a radio in the beginnig of the song just like in the original which adds texture to the song. I kept the same sound in the chorus when she sings “we’re the Kids in America”. I have also panned out her to the left then the right when she sings the pre-chorus which adds dynamics to the song.
For bass and the guitar I havn’t done mush with them because they sounded good already. I just added a compressor to both of them to make them sound louder.
