I had a pretty good time both learning jazz songs and recording at BCB Radio.
Learning jazz made me understand music theory so much more and it opened a new door for me into my future as a musician. I had so much fun learning The Chicken by Jaco Pastorius that it made me listen to more Jaco and Weather Report. My favourite song by Jaco is Portrait of Tracey because of the use of natural harmonics in this song. Another thing that jazz taught me was the history behind it and how it started from blues and Ragtime, Later evolving into jazz.
Recording on the Radio at BCB taught me a lot more things about the radio than before and it also gave me more confidence when speaking into a microphone.
We all had a great time working on the radio recording the songs that liked and adding some commentary about the songs like the story behind the songs and how they were made. These sessions also gave me more experience in using Audacity as I had little knowledge of using this software.
