The dress rehearsal was ok for the most it could off gone a lot better but since it was the dress rehearsal everyone had to get the feel for how it was going to be on that night and to get familiar with being on stage and the change overs with other bands.

I feel like this performance could off been a lot better it took us too long to set up. From the time we came one stage to where we start took us bout 2 minutes to get ready.
The first song that we performed was Don’t Matter by Kings of Leon, This was not our best rehearsal of this song I feel like we did better in previous rehearsals we did at college, We were supposed to start the song right after Aimee says her line without Adam our drummer counting us in after. I think this happened because we didn’t practice our topping and tailing and just went with what we said we were going to do.
You can see Aimee forgot her lyrics in the second verse which was worrying because in previous rehearsals this wouldn’t happen and she would sing the song with no problems.
Dayman
This rehearsal was ok it just need to be tighten up in some bits of the song but for the most it was ok. The start of the song was supposed to be just Lukass playing his art once and then i come in on bass on the second time but I just played my part way to early making the beginning not sounding like it should be. I feel like everyone really enjoyed themselves with this song especially when we all had to sing ‘aahh’ after every line. Like I’ve said this song was ok it just needed be tightened up in the beginning.
Teen Spirit
This was the song that we didn’t really practice and it was the best that we have ever played it. We all knew how to play this song before this performance, Me and Lukass wanted to always play this song but we never got the chance to play it at previous performances due to it not fitting in with the setlist.
I don’t think there were any mistakes made during this rehearsal.
Kids in America 2:58:52
My project for this song was to turn Kids in America into a metal cover and I really like how it turned out. From Lacey’s singing to how Lukass’s guitar sounds and Adams drumming it all sounded really good, I would even say it sounded better than the rehearsals we have before the gig. For my part I wanted my bass to sound more powerful in the beginning of the song like in the original but that was played on a Wasp synth which would of sounded good in my version but I didn’t want to use synth in my song because It would of sounded like power metal also Lukass forgot to sing his part but that didn’t matter because it sounded really good.
Crimson 2:20:40
The third and final band I was in, I would say this this is the way to end the gig because of all the energetic songs we played.
Grace was the first song we played and it sounded very good, even better than when we played in the live room when we were rehearsing. On stage at The Underground with all of the pedals we found the right tone for all of the songs and I must say it sounded really good.
Clarks voice was damaged because he had a cold during that night but he still smashed it and it sounded real and raw. all of the instruments sounded on point all of those hours of rehearsal and practicing at home really paid off.
Heart Shaped Box
The second song we played was Heart Shaped Box. This song absolutly no mistakes when we performed it again this song sounded so much better on stage druring our dress rehearsal and it sounded even better when we performed it to a live crowd. This song makes me want to performe even more Nirvana songs infront of a crowd.
Go with the Flow
This was our third song that we performed, This song sounded good but Isobels part could of been a little better it did sound a little bit messy maybe because when we rehearsed it in the live room we played it faster than the usual BPM but then Evan played it on the right BPM on drums and we all got a little confused why it sounded slower than how we played it before but it sounded really good during the dress rehearsal.
My Iron Lung
Again another great song we performed really well, I feel like if I practiced a bit more on my slap bass technique then it would of sounded a lot better.
I watched videos on youtube on how to slap bass but it was too hard for me also I am mainly a guitar player and learning a new technique on a instrument I wasn’t really familiar with was challeenging for me but I feel like I could of done better if I did more practice on how to slap bass.
My Hero
This was our finals song on our setlist again just like heart shaped box this song had no mistakes whatsoever. It sounded really solid during our dress rehearsal and yeah I just like Nirvana I would likke to cover more Foo Fighters.
