Here I have made a simple drum pattern consisting of Kicks, snare and HiHats
I was going for a R&B sound, I tried to find a drum kit that sounded the closest to what I wanted to create. Then I made an R&B bass line to go with the drum beat.
I have also set the tempo to 98 bmp for more of a R&B style
This is the structure of the 2nd Ableton song which was going to be a remix of the weekend cant feel my face but then I decided to make a completely new song using all the samples Lewis has given us.
I have used EDM drum loops and sound effects. I have also implemented some vocals I have found in the Hip-Hop samples. I have also used some Lo-Fi guitar samples to add some melody into the song now, I just have to add bass to go with the organ and guitars.
This is the drum loop I have chosen to use it reminds me of old school dubstep like Skrillex and Nero

This is the first version of the song.
adding various effects to some of the sounds for example I’ve added a delay to the drums and reverb to the guitars and piano.
I have also added my own bass to go with the piano in the beginning.
Bass amp pre set I used to get the bass tone.

In this picture you can see a lot has changed I have added a second bass with a heavy amp also I have added different drums to the second half of the song which then transitions to a drop with heavy synths and an arc loop.
