Task 3: Distributing a Podcast

YouTube will be the primary platform for my podcast because it may be necessary to include video along with some of the episodes to better illustrate anything relative to the conversation. However some of the episodes may be audio only without any video or illustrations

When i was doing this logo I faced a few problems but I got there at the end. I wanted to make this logo with the colour orange and blue. These colours makes my podcast stand out. The phrase Yo Youth indicates the youth, a calling , an invitation to the youth. This phrase makes people automatically want to listen to the youth and what they have got to say about mental health. This logo attracts the younger audience and generation.

As you see here I have put my logo on a small billboard to show you how it would look like in real life and how effective it would be. This would increase promotion for my podcast , a lot of people would listen to it and it would increase awareness around the local area and city. Different people that pass the billboard can go on their phone and search up the podcast on YouTube , Spotify and Deezer.

So over here I was changing the eq , I was increasing and decreasing the eq to make our voices more clear. As you see at the end I had the bar raised to make our voices more crispy. It did take a lot of trial and error to get the correct eq but i got there at the end.

Over here I was playing with the control panel to find where our voices were light or heavy. I had the ambiance on the lowest setting because if i had increased it our voices would be very light and will have a lot of echo. This panel allowed me to find the right pitch and it also made our voices much more clear. I was playing around with the settings at first to know what each control was. But after a while I had managed to figure out what each control did.

The volume on my podcast wasn’t as loud , so i had to increase the volume. The original volume to my podcast was very low. Increasing the volume meant more clear audio.

At first I was trying to see if I could find an effect to erase the heaviness in our voices but I couldn’t. But there was this one effect natural vocal which did make a positive effect on the audio but it still didn’t do the job.

Over here I I had mixed my intro into my podcast , so I had put music at the start of my podcast as my introduction . My music was too loud so I had used the mixing tool the automation to fade my music into my podcast , the volume of my music slowly decreased as it blended into my podcast. Then at the end of my podcast the volume of my music increased as I was doing the outro of my podcast.

I had downloaded the music that I wanted to use for my introduction as an mp3 audio file to put at the start of my podcast. I had to cut the song which meant I used like 20 seconds of the music at the start of my introduction . This added a positive effect on my podcast and it also made my podcast stand out. Adding music at the start of my podcast set the tone and mood to my podcast.
