Rationale:
I feel that my progress leading up to this project has been positive.My plans for this year were to show my skills in pitching and presenting.My collaboration with the Science Media museum team for my new idea helped me to do that.I used the report they gave me and did some secondary research to find out some key information about VR gaming , virtual reality sports and how it has improved over the years and what new thing is coming into place.i utilised the visitors report to my advantage , it really helped me understand the target audience for Science Media museum. The science Media team really helped with what we should do next. The tutors were helping where they could.I learnt how to pitch my idea in a formal way. My presenting skills improved during this project.I learnt how to create a blog for my VR theme. I am able to analyse exemplar content more thoroughly while also improving my confidence through presenting my idea.The skills i learnt on the advertising project will allow me to promote my FMP idea by using social media.
Project Concept:
My final major project will be music video (Nasheed video).My target audience for this will be people who listen to nasheeds. Age group of 6-10 , 12-16 , 18-24 and even 24 and older. Depends on if they like it or not. But majority of the time its the youth.This nasheed will be directed and produced by me, filmed by some of my mates and edited by me and my team.This nasheed video will be 5 mins long. I will be shooting the video in a country side somewhere that is very nice. In the fields , near a lake and in a mosque.
I will be creating a storyboard on which shots id need to take.I will be looking at other nasheed videos to build an idea on how I want mine to be. I will planning my shots with the team. Id be researching which shots are best for a music video. During my shoot I will be taking pictures on my other phone to show evidence and progression of my project. I will keep a track of what is going on during the days of production , i will be keeping a diary in a way explaining what happened that day , what I did and what went well.I will do mind map of ideas for different shots and location.
Research:
For my research I intend to study existing nasheed videos , and which shots is best to use and how to do it.To successfully undertake this research , I can use a variety of different ways to gather my research like using YouTube and tutorials.
