Hello my name is faith and this my introduction that opens up a doorway to who I am and why I’m on a website. I am a young aspiring artist with the passion to create innovative music. I’ve been a vocalist ever since childhood, with being in many choirs and performing for the public under my belt, I have lots of experience when it comes to performance. I am a young artist who originates from the City of Bradford, which is the home to my inspirations for starting a singing career.
With having talent in art, with traditional, painting, and design, I hope able to incorporate my writing, my art, and my musical talent in order to create something that’ll inspire and capture any audience.
I enjoy all forms of music, Future house, Kpop, Pop music, Electro swing, Rock music. These are a few genres that I enjoy the most when it comes to listening to songs, and it allows me to take inspiration and also create my own original ideas for songs, my inspirations can manifest from anything, the artist I take the most inspirations from are NF (Nate) who is a young rapper who has the ability to use his music, mainly rapping, to relate amd touch the hearts of many, along with another artist being Tate Mcrae, who tends to focus her music more on teenage struggles and the hardships of society and maturity.
What I look to be able to display in my music is the journey. Music to me is an expression of the soul, and being able to express the journey that I have been through is going to be my main focus point, if you haven’t already grasped, the lyrics in a song and what the song means is what drives me to create, it’s what it tells about me, and what it can do for others that inspires me to follow a dream.
I want to focus on learning to be a better performer, and learning techniques and bettering my voice and stage presence for the future. I feel I lack in social skills, stage presence and want to learn dance choreography in order better my future performances. I also feel like I need to work on control, and breathing when I perform, so the next two years I will hope to be learning to master those skills, and with that building up my confidence as a performer, which is something I lack.
My goals in the first year is to set up a proper youtube channel, getting the equipment such as a microphone, a set up, a laptop, and a video editor in order to create a sphere of influence and to display my talents to the world, along with better my skills and learning how to create music, write songs in a structured fashion, which will be able to allow a gateway to a positive career.
With all of this in mind, I really want to fix what has been broken this year, since I know I’ve got alot of challenges coming my way, my motivation, my mental health, and emotional health is going to be put to the test this year, and it is what’s scaring me the most, more then the typical teenage thoughts of “am I going to fit in?” or thoughts related as such. The reason why music means so much to me is because it’s my very being, and the only thing I feel I have left, now from an outside view, anyone knows that isn’t true, I’m aware, but this year is going to be the year of putting taking my pain and letting it build my character, not relieving it and letting it break my character.
