I have some of the timing really well but both hands aren’t always working together which is why they hang onto certain sections too long. I need to know this section off by heart so I don’t have to think about where I’m going next, which is messing up the timing.
I have memorised the first section I learnt so that I didn’t have to think about where I was going so my timing on that part is almost perfect. However, the part where it kind of lags behind is the new section I learnt. Again, I need to internalise that section so I can perfect it, like I did the first section, before I move on.
I decided to loop what I had already learnt and then slightly rewrite the ending to save me time. This way, I had time to record it and rehearse for the show, as well as sending off all my tracks at once.
