Feedback Evaluation

I had a lot of good feedback, telling me that I had a really strong idea and I presented it with a lot of confidence so this pushes me to try and fulfil their expectations now and create a result that lives up to what I built it out to be in my presentation.

I had a lot of comments on my referencing, because I didn’t use Harvard referencing, so I made sure to use Harvard referencing in my proposal idea. Even though a lot of points were clear to most people, some people still were unsure of certain parts so I should try to reword things better, so I answer all their questions in my presentation. Lack of specifics kind of left it feeling more like an idea than a plan, but I will be developing it further and documenting exactly what I meant by each thing as I go along and do them, they’ll be documented in my weekly evaluations.

I also got some really helpful tips, such as using college resources when it comes to recording the piano and guitar so I can get a much better sound quality. I think this is a really good idea because it can be hard to get a clear recording at home due to other people making noise however, I did kind of plan it with the intentions of not being aloud back into college due to COVID restrictions. I also got advised to do a lot of research of piano and guitar duos because they can clash quite a lot and it’s a bit of a complex issue to fix with a limited guitarist. I will be looking into different examples of piano and guitar duos, to see how they worked together, but I’ll also be researching what common issues can arise with this duo and how to fix them. The story board suggestion was really helpful because it will give me a basic guide to following when composing the basic melody and the edit. Also, the feedback will be useful in letting me know how they’re feeling in comparison to how I want them to feel, and then I’ll be able to develop it further depending on how I want to adapt it.
