Self-Assessment
Context: I think I did good because I did external research for context and I did a write up for each decade and basically anything we was told about. However, I could have answered more questions on the calls to try and add more input and receive more insight.
Research: I think I received an excellent because I did external research, wrote up everything we spoke about and included some media like pictures and videos, or links to what I was referencing. For example, I went and listened to a few more of the songs from “The Key Of Life – Stevie Wonder” and “Kind Of Blue – Miles Davis” to try and get some more insight as to why everyone perceives those albums as masterpieces.
Practical: I think possibly a good for practical because I wouldn’t say my Sibelius sounded entirely as I anticipated or tried to create and I kind of ran out of time so I didn’t really finish added in thing’s like string articulations etc. However, I would say it went quite well with the video and I did show a lot of different skills, like the scales and harmonising with chords etc. Also, I think my Logic creation was really good because I included a wide range of techniques, sounds and managed to space it out yet maintain a solid structure.
Evaluation and Reflection: I think I scored an excellent or maybe a good because I did try to do detailed evaluations but sometimes I couldn’t think of a lot to say about a specific song or something. However, I did try to include as much terminology as possible to try create a more in-depth analysis.
