Before I began promoting, I archived all my previous posts so my new followers would focus on my EP release. The link tree in my bio is so people can get tickets to the showcase, it used to be my own link tree so it took them to all my social medias so after the showcase I’ll put my own in again. I also have a highlight of “EP” which is where I save all my stories because they usually disappear after 24 hours so I keep them there incase any new followers want to catch up and hear any previous snippets I shared.
Post 1:
My first post was an edit I created showing little snippets of some BTS footage with a snippet of my first track playing underneath. I tried to sync the footage to the track. At the end it shows the release date. This edit was shared on Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.

After I posted the promo video, I shared it to my story because my posts can get lost in people feeds so this way they can click directly onto the video and interact. Again, I put the date it’ll be released.

Included the link tree to all of my social media’s.
Post 2:
This was a canvas design idea that I thought I’d use for promotion. The same track is playing underneath. This edit was shared to Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.

A snippet of the recording.

Again, posting my post on my stories with the release date.

If I didn’t have any new promo footage to share, I reposted my other posts on my story.

Showing a glimpse at the work I’d been doing.

This was a promotional post for the Latin track but it didn’t end up making it in the end.

This was a post reshare of me playing Saman – Olafur Arnalds.

This was another post reshare of me playing the acoustic version of my track that I’ll be performing at the showcase.

Snippet I had shared earlier on.
Promoting for track 2.

I used comedy as a way to promote too as people are more likely to watch funny clips than endure more serious promotion.
