For my FMP i am doing 3 different looks . For my first assignment its Pocket planet , this is deer shed festival and on their page it says pocket planet is the celebration of different places so i am going to create a look on a Chinese dragon and showing why they celebrate it and what the dragon symbolizes and what it stands for in china. I want to create a look bringing forward the idea of power and how fierce the creature is .
For my second look the brief states “Instaglam” being self explanatory ; the glam looks you see on instagram , i want to tweak this to fit into something i am inspired by and take enjoyment from the most , being graphic liner , the aesthetic it falls into being “edgy ” is something i want to expand on , and this is what i follow on instagram so my feed is graphic liners and so its my instaglam.
For my final part of my FMP i have been assigned two characters from the Grease musical that the other course is performing this will give us experience with collaborating with the other courses and working behind stage with the production. The characters I’ve been assigned is Sandy and Sonny , the main female protagonist and the member of the T-birds . For this look i am creating a soft makeup look inspired by the 1950’s and soft curls for sandy at the beginning then after when she has the change she has red lips and wild hair , the hair isn’t achievable in that short amount of time behind stage so the hair will go into a clip giving it more volume giving the same effect. For Sonny i am going to slick back the hair and do simple touch up makeup.
