As you can see most people would enjoy watching a film that uses animation as a effects because it’s something different, it’s not something you see everyday.
When it comes to graphics, it doesn’t need to be to a extend where t is watchable and enjoyable to watch, but if it a quality but the story line is good people will still watch it .
I want to include a camera movement named art shot where the camera moves 360, I have a idea how ill make this shot come true but I dont know if Ill look good.
For my experimental music video I wanted to have a tracking shot where the doubleganger and the protagonist meet face to face. I had no idea how to create tracking shot but the second I got a idea how to create a tracking shot I got my camera an decided to do my own research on this. However let me explain how we were able to make the tracking shot, why it didn’t work out and what was my resolution to this problem.
Max is on a rolling chair holding the camera and Salman is behind the rolling chair pushing the chair following me whiles I was walking and being in character. Now the problem with this is is that maxes shoe was in the shot, we tried to redo this shot multiple times but maxes shoe always ended up in the scene, another problem was that max would wobble and shake the camera making it look not smooth the resolution to this problem was me putting the camera on the rolling chair and have Salman push it.
Audience:
My experimental music video is for children between 12-15 this is because the Germanic mythology was mostly told mostly aimed at children, as it is primarily for misbehaving children. Therefor my target audience is for pre teens.I want to create a terrifying atmosphere for pre teens. The entire purpose for my project is to fit the theme, which is pocket planet.
So, for my FMP, I created a experimental music video, and the theme will be horror. When I was brainstorming this idea, I was talking to my classmates about how I could tie it back to the theme, so I had to change a few things from the original idea, such as instead of it being a doubleganger, the protagonist was supposed to have a disability that caused her to have a split personality, however, because this is a family festival, I changed this because there will be children who will not be to comprehend what is going on. Another example is that in the initial idea, I planned to kill off the protagonist, but I decided against it because it should be family friendly. Because it has become a horror film for children, I have decided to add a bit of violence at the end but nothing too explicit.
Here I was presenting my ideas to my classmates and they gave me feedback about my work.
