New proposal

My original plan on my FMP was to create a 30 second anime opening, It’d have many different cuts switching from one scene to another, in those scenes there would be different characters of the anime. The scenes would include spoilers about the anime setting, which would be in high school and in the open area where most fights would happen. However now that we received the theme, the storyline and setting will change. The theme that we received is incognito, so I have decided to create my new project about a pirate who is obsessed with treasure, he had spent many weeks planning this invasion in the duchess castle who were celebrating his daughters 18th birthday, the birthday ball has a theme named mystery, therefore everyone in the ball will be wearing a mask. The ideal length is still 30 seconds.

My aim for this project is to improve my animating skills, what I mean by this is keeping my charters consistent such as, hair length, eyes placements, keeping my characters clothing consistent, I will do this by keeping my characters details simple and not complicated, my other aim is to keep my animation smooth and not robotic, I will complete this by replaying the scenes over and over changing the actions to keep it smooth

My target audience is 12+ years old, the reason for this is because my colour plates are chosen to catch younger children’s eye, this will make it more appealing for the children.

The resources I need is an application that will allow me to animate, now because I don’t have a computer I will have to be creating this on my phone using an application called flipaclip, this is an application that allows you to animate. I will also be using another application called ibishpain since the colours on flipaclip are limited

Practical research

  • I have watched many different videos on how to animate, this included different software’s such as FlipaClip – Cartoon animation (Android, iPhone, iPad)
  • Adobe Spark (Android, iPhone)
  • Animation Desk Classic (Android, iPhone)
  • Animator Video Maker (iPhone, iPad)
  • Stop Motion Studio (Android, iPhone, iPad)

However for most of these you have to pay, these are the most  reliable applications to animate on
