Monday<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Notes: In the recording studio. Most of the studio was set up due to recording beforehand, but I set up the rest of the studio the way I wanted it. Used my research (spaced pair configuration). Experimented with placing a microphone inside a vent. Made a guitar ghost track for the first song and rehearsed bass and drums with session bassist before recording 4\/5 takes of the song until we were happy. Made guitar ghost track for second song and recorded drums. Didn’t manage to get bass recorded for this as I was stuck for time. Could have used song mapping beforehand to make the session easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Notes: Transferred all files onto my memory stick, took a while as the files were very big and almost all of my memory sticks didn’t have enough storage for them. Looked through some of the takes on Logic to decide which ones were best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Notes: Transferred the Logic audio files to Ableton to begin working on the first track. Put the parts together so they were all in time after transferring and started to edit the bassline by manually quantizing any timing issues. Didn’t have much time to do work on this as I had a meeting and we were told to leave college early due to the flight for the college Italy trip in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
