Self Assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Context- Good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout my work on context, I believe that I understood the context work we did on topics such as the music industry, health and safety and more. I also went further and gave context on the effects COVID_19 had on the music industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research- Good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel like my research skills were shown well here as I was able to complete all the research tasks and more, for example researching the importance of instruments in music and making a page on the science of music. I understood all of the research and used relevant sources to back it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Practical Skills- Excellent<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My practical skills, I feel, were extremely well shown in this project as my drumming was on point, the rehearsals and performances went really well and smooth, and I feel like we can communicate and have jelled well as a band. I used different techniques in the songs like improvisation and learnt all the songs solely by ear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evaluation And Reflection- Good<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think my analysis’ and evaluations were clearly explained and contained lots of detail. Also after analysing, i go on to explain what we can do to make these improvements work and some targets we need to set for the next rehearsal\/performance. I believe this informs the reader on how the band is getting on and that I can be critical of myself when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall Grade- Good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think I deserve this grade for the reasons above and also because of the fact I showed effort throughout the whole project and I feel like this was present during both the write up’s and whilst in college. I also show my skills and creativity in my Digital Space pages by adding photos, videos and powerpoints to interact more with the reader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
