Final Project Evaluation

This project was a bit of a disaster. It started out as a really good idea that was a bit ambitious however I was sure that I could do it. Due to getting ill for 2 weeks of the project this hindered it quite a lot. I was also dealing with some personal issues by the end of the project that made it difficult for me to work. All of this added up and meant that my project had to be cut down a lot. This was a shame as I was excited for the final product that I was going to make.

One issue I had is over estimating myself and didn’t allow for any external problems making it more of a struggle to complete the work. I also over estimated how much work I could do anyways as without the problems it still would’ve been a massive challenge. I also spent too much time experimenting with Ableton and getting used to it which meant the next phases of my project couldn’t start. Same applies with the research I did at the start of the project. I would also change my final track as it is mostly samples which isn’t what I was aiming for.

If I was to do this again I would spend more time on the plan and properly thinking about the project. As well as sticking to the plan. This was my main issue as I had a good idea but it didn’t plan out.
