Song Writing.
How I work on song Writing is, I come up with some lyrics in my head and write it down there and then because if I don’t i’ll forget it. As I work onto the lyrics and melody I start to write up my lyrics whilst also making them rhyme, I also work on the melody at the same time and hum it into my phone so I can remember it for later. Some people also write about their love life or break ups or family\friends. Most people start with the title them make questions about it and then work off the questions and develop it into a song, but some artists work around there lives or pull out the hard or happy times and turn it into a song also some are personal some make it about something different. Not all songs have to be about your personal life it can be a story or just some lyrics that end up working together and then you end up developing it.
Structure and techniques.
One of the most used structure is chorus at the begging then verse or for more hip hop and pop songs its verse chorus verse bridge chorus. Also some songs have it were the play the same verse over and over again. Some artist like to use the same chords all the way through but different lyrics. More complex songs, like those by prog-rock outfits like Rush or King Crimson or Dream Theatre, might include far more sections that push beyond the verse-chorus and outro. A common structure in music is two eight bar A section, an eight bar B section which should include the harmonies from the A section. The techniques some artist use is a story line and make it into a song some others use their life and make a song out of the heartbreaks or the happy and sad times. Most artist use a repeated section also double bars and texture.

chord progressions.
Working on Chord progressions I start with c chords like in our first original my chords are, C,D,G,C,D because its so much easier to work with and I also use the cycle of fifth. The most common chords are I,V,vi and IV for example its the key of C major and that would be C-G-Am-F. Also some chord progression can be copyrighted. There’s something catchy to us when there’s certain chords playing like C-D-F-G it just makes you vibe to the sound of it. Good chords to start with on piano is C major, G major, A minor and E minor. Theres a method called the 1,3,5 and its the easiest method to work with as well as triads you can use major and minor seventh chords. In essence so the B in the C major seventh comes a tune before the C which makes it the seventh note in the scale so that’s why it’s called major minor seventh. These chords get used more in genres like pop, jazz, funk and more.

Aristist.
Some of my favourite artist are Meghan Trainor, Whitney Houston and little mix and a lot more. So Meghan Trainor got shown to jazz and dopwop and it gave her ideas from how she wanted the melody and tunes of the songs and it makes them very catchy and her lyrics come from love or family mostly happy songs. Sometimes it come up from a convosation she has had with a family or a friend, she rights it down when she has an idea. Whitney Houston got a song idea from a security gaud and her mother was the first singer she had contact with and also the church which also helped her write her songs. She did some of her songs based of her life and lovers. Litter mix wrote a few songs on lovers and life but also around happiness and there fans and they wrote ideas down and builded them up together the girl wrote there own lyrics for there own part and came together and see if it works if not they would work on making it all work together , so they all had a part to work on and make the lyrics make sense.
