Overall i think this rehearsal went really well we only had ten minuets to learn it and we all knew it second we knew the chords or lyrics. The things we need to improve is have everything tight the guitar bass and drum and also piano and me and Lucy to learn lyrics without our phones. Me and Lucy went into a seperate room to learn the song for 5 minuets without the band in the back ground and then they learnt it without me and Lucy singing over them and when we came together we nailed it. The song is called you got the love by The machine and Florence.
Me – Need to control my voice a little bit more.
Lucy – Needs to learn the lyrics for the second verse and the projection of that verse.
Abbi – Make the drums tighter so it sound cleaner.
Issac – gaining confidence and to look up throughout the performance instead of down.
Tia – Improve on the bar chords.
Niall – To learn bass and make it sound clearer.
Overall i think it went well but could have gone better. we also changed it to where i played the keys and just sang the chorus . The band could have had the song more tighter but we did very well to say its our first rehearsal.
Abi- Could improve by just tightening the drums.
Tia- needs to get the chords right and making it cleaner.
Niall- To not forget the bass chords.
Issac – To make the keys to also sound cleaner.
Lucy – To remember the second verse.
Me – To also remember the keys and remember when i need to come in because sometimes i come in to early.
To learn my keys better and control the volume of the keys .
Overall the band the band did pretty well with this song, this was also our first time performing this song Everyone was on time just need to tighten it up.
Me- To not strain my voice when singing and take control of it also add haromines.
Niall- Keep the guitar on time and not forget the chords.
Tia- To keep the bass tight.
Lucy- To not be as loud so you can hear my harmoines.
Issac- To not forget the keys on the piano hes playing.
Abi- To also keep the drum tight.
Overall this rehearsal went very well we knew all the words and felt confident whilst performing. Me and the band did really well with “you got the love ” it was clean and all very well played. Also when singing “love on the brain” i need to be more confident singing the first verse so it doesn’t off key. We also need to start looking into the audience including Abi, Niall, Tia and Issac. Whilst performing “Transparent Soul” i forgot the harmonise’s so for next rehearsal i need to remember them. On the other hand the band played so well throughout this song it was tight and clean.
Abi – Play very well and wasn’t any weaknesses
Niall – Keep the bass\guitar on time throughout love on the brain.
Tia – To also keep guitar/bass on timing with love on the brain.
Issac – To keep up with the keys in you’ve got the love.
Me and Niall sing our solo song riptide at 18 minuets in. I am very proud with this song it was our first time performing the song in front of people and we only rehearsed at home.
Evaluation of my last performance!
I also forgot to add that I lost control in my solo when a girl was trying to speak to me throughout my song when I was singing, then that’s when a lass shouted “go on lass” and I lost control of my emotions because it was a first time of performing and it was actually very scary in front of someone that’s so loud but it would of helped if I knew where my family was sat because they help me stay calm and stay confident.
My final evaluation.
My idea of how everything went was great from rehearsing all the time to performing, I think the band including the singers could of definitely moved around a-bit more that we did and felt more confident in what we was doing, I felt like a weakness to me was not being confident in myself throughout my solo and how I lost control at the end of my song. As a group I don’t think there’s need for any massive improvement I think we all smashed it just again look at each other now and again and smile more.
project evaluation.
I Met my target with my band I felt so confident and I was just having fun throughout the our performance and I did meet it in my solo I was able to push through most of my song without my nerves getting to me. Before I performed I did research on how people act on stage and see how there able to be confident, I could of done more research but what I had looked up was actual quite helpful to me, it give me a little exercise to help control my breathing which very much helped. I would love to pursue performing as a career but I would just make myself very prepared and just have a lot more faith and confidence in myself. In this project I helped out with the program which came out amazingly and my main job was front door which was so fun I greeted people with a smile and made them excited for the show, I checked there tickets and let them through whilst handing them a program on their way in. I very enjoyed this project it’s one of my favourites I would love to do this again it makes it so fun when the audience is engaged with you throughout your song or when they cheer you on it’s a very nice feeling. Overall Sunday Chaos smashed it.
Here are the some videos from our performance.
