I learnt how to write a song and some songs rhyme which seem easier and some songs are about personal experience and also some are about people pretending to be someone else.
We also took photos in the snow and made a song about it and things around us , which was so really fun to do .
We have created a song today and here are my lyrics for what we have done so far “hmmmm hmmm hmmmm .We had everything but you didn’t want that(want that), yeah we had all of it but its just too bad (too bad ) , you don’t love me the way you use too. Baby you’ve moved on , but it hurts so bad , i just want you back , you shouldn’t love her if you couldn’t love me. So i guess i was just a shoulder to cry on .” I have a full song but we haven’t completed it yet. we are just working on the chords for the chorus.
The last lesson we finished up with the song but we decide that we are going to add melody and also said we are going to make the chorus sound a little bit different to the verse because it sounds too similar so you couldn’t really tell what was the chorus.
The target for this lesson is to get the demo done and hope we have everything the way we want because Ben and Adam are so good at getting everything the way we need if not perfect that’s fine but it be nice to have it completed.
Today we finished the demo on the song but it wasn’t the best i had voice cracks and was struggling with the harmony but that’s absolutely fine to make mistakes because i can work off them but i got somewhere in the end so for my next lesson my target is going to be to make sure the melody is right and to have it to our standards but I’m proud of where we got.
Todays lesson was our last lesson to finish but i changed the lyrics and it sounds alot better and we have everything put together and im so proud of how it sounds and how everything just clicked together because the other lyrics didnt really have harmony to it and it was tricky to add harmony so i just changed the lyrics but the same title “shoulder to cry on ” and now the song has more harmony and feeling to it .
