What I did on the outside of college was call the band and discuss certain things, like if we wanted to add or take away something but inside of college we would take half an hour each week and make sure everyone still on the same page a see if we all still like how were heading.
The work preparation was effective, we called 2x a week and we kept each other updated on things we liked and didn’t like so gave each other feedback every week. We also stuck to the preparation plan and did everything we said were going to apart from the cover and one original because we thought it be better to do just two good originals instead of three and have two very good ones and one rough one. So we just left out the original we didn’t really liked and put most of the effort into the ones we liked most
We rehearsed 24x and I worked on the piano none stop to make sure I had it right and same with the lyric so I could get use to paying and singing at the same time.
I did a calibration with tom and Abigail on a song I did alone but tom wrote a verse and Abigail played the guitar to it. Me and Ben did a callorabtion on the chords for our originals as an example we did chords, C,D,G,D,C and of course the band we recorded together and helped each other with chords vocals and lyrics.
My commitment to the band we very high I was always working on the piano and lyrics to make sure id have everything done for the days we was rehearsing so then I could just get on with it. If the boy or me and Abigail got distracted or didn’t do as much as we needed to we would speak in person over the phone or messages to say to each other we need to do more instead of messing around.
The professional qualities I brought to the band was being professional when we had our photo shoot or getting recorded also when getting filmed for but if I could change anything about it, it would be to be more weary of how much time we actually have and instead of pushing things were it might go when we should go into reality and realise what we could actually do in that time.
