Development

when creating the idea for my project it was initially suppose to be a spy infiltrating a house but then I changed it to the spy infiltrating a college as it would fit the scenario a lot more as the spy is infiltrating a place that he should not have access to.

To gain ideas on what my project should be like I looked at different types of film and games to see how they demonstrates themes of incognito, mystery and thriller to intrigue and entertain the viewer.

During creating the pitch I outlined all of the requirements for the project and the goals I set for myself. I also closely related my pitch to the client brief so that I can do what the client wants

When creating the storyboard I made a rough draft of what scenes I could be able to do in college and went out to scout the scenes that I could film and to see that there would be no health and safety issues. Then I cut out some scenes and put some new scenes and made the Storyboard a bit more through with what scene is after that I moved on to making the script to gain more detail about the project and to give instructions to the actors.

When making the script I was struggling with creating it as I am not creating at creating dialogue for the characters so then I got help from one of the actors to help me create the script and the shot types that will happen in the film. Doing the script helped me create structure for the film and helped me know what will happen where and when.

Next came shooting the film and so I rented a camera for the day to film and shoot. We were able get all the shots however there were some changes. The barrier scene that we were gonna shoot was not able to happen as the barriers to the college where we were going to film got very hectic and busy. We were confident it would not be busy at that time but it did not go as plan so we looked for a place to shoot the scene somewhere else and change what the spy does. We luckily found a place with the same barriers in a different area however the barriers were not working. So we needed to improvise and had one of the actors jump over the barrier to fit the story that the barriers don’t work so the cards won’t work. Then we the actor playing as the spy jump over the barrier but fall to add a comedic element and to make the spy look foolish.
