During the editing process, we named all the clips together and created short sequences with the draft music we had on hand to see what clips will go well with the music for the documentary. Here are the clips we shot in Italy without the music.
During the editing process, we used premiere to put our clips together and create a sequence for the poetic documentary.

Reflective Journal
On the project, we came across many problems like technical problems with importing footage onto the computer as it was having difficulties processing all the footage and taking a long time to import it all. To make the time we spent idle productive we went through the stages the documentary may go through like starting with nature transitioning to architecture and structures, and finally to the community, but this was revised many times on the project to make do with what clips we had. The trouble I faced with starting the editing was looking at a blank timeline and debating for a long time what do I start with from the library of footage we filmed which was daunting. I remembered that a great shot that could be used at the start could be the sun rising and the sun rays shining through the tree branches which I thought set the mood and start right. Also, to fix the problem of having a slow computer to work on us, fortunately, a member of the project hand us his mac for the project which helped us immensely speed up our productivity the project. I skill I want to improve on is organising clips with people on a project as you never know if some clips that are slightly out of focus or with an object in the way could still be used in a different way in the project. When organising the footage we were reluctant to keep clips and a few flaws which was the wrong mindset. You never know what could be used and when during the project.
Other problems we faced were crew members getting injured while travelling on bikes in Italy as not many of us cycle regularly constricting us on time. Also, the music that was given to us had slight changes from their draft changing the beat and sequence to what we were using on the draft project so last second that needed to be changed. A problem I feel like I have is trying to envision the final project because during the process while filming clips some footage you are able to see click together whereas other clips do not so much.
I feel like with the problems we had at the time we overcame them well because we would ensure that whatever problem came at the time we would find a way to solve it. Like when we needed to switch computers because one computer was working very slowly. Also when a person got injured we quickly disinfected their wounds stopped the bleeding and checked if the person is ok.
