Section 1: <\/strong> <\/strong>Rationale (approx. 100 words)<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
\u00a0<\/strong>I have chosen to do this as my final project because my favourite project of this year was project 2 composing and I want to try composing again. I chose to Compose for DOOM Eternal because the production of the tracks in the soundtrack is amazing and I have explored music production, I know this project will push me to become better at producing my own music which will be beneficial for me as a musician. I also have not touched heavy metal music before and I want to develop skills in unexplored areas of music.<\/td><\/tr>
Section 2: Project Concept (approx. 200 words)<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
\u00a0<\/strong>In my project I will be composing for a fast paced action shooter video game called DOOM Eternal. My goal is to create 2 compositions within the projects time span of 10 weeks, each of these compositions must be at least 4 minuets in duration to reflect on the video games original soundtrack. I will need a drummer to get authentic sounding drums for my composition so that it can sound more like the games original soundtrack and sound better overall. DOOM Eternal uses a lot of guitars which play chords and riffs. As a pianist it could be difficult to play in chords as I have don’t have much experience with playing guitar chords. I am doing this because MIDI doesn’t sound good as an actual guitar. This is why I am collaborating with Ben H. who will play in my guitar chords and Abby who will play the drum track. Before I ask anything of Ben I will make sure that I have picked a chord progression so that he knows what to do. I will also make sure that I have built the foundations of my track so Abby has something to drum over.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Section 3: Evaluation (approx. 50 words)<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
\u00a0 This project my digital space will have weekly updates on my composition, these weekly updates will show my progress so far and my future ideas for the project. <\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
Proposed Research Sources and Bibliography (Harvard Format)                <\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
\u00a0<\/strong>There are plenty of sources of first hand BTS talk for the music of DOOM 2016 and DOOM Eternal, I will use online videos to my advantage for research. <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
