

I was attempting a lino reduction but was un able to complete it as had to leave it because of workshops. In that time someone moved it and it was lost, I hate that I wasted material because of this. Instead of redoing it I decided to create some mini lino cuts using scrap lino to create a pattern inspired by the workshop I did.
I created this by sketching my design onto the lino then using the smallest lino cutting tool I cut over the pencil design to make it easier to see. the using a bigger tool I carved out the sky leaving the bird.

















The last two white pieces were the pieces of paper I placed underneath the main lino print with a few full prints I added to the middle. The center one was created when I was cleaning the ink off the lino.
