These booklets were inspired by the zine workshop I created these using the template beside this. I like the result how you can flick through it and see all the answers to drawings.
I drew the answers I got from the survey to inspire what to draw next. I painted the animals with black acrylic and coloured the flowers in with pencils. I found the orchids difficult to draw in my style. I liked the coloured flowers best so I am going to create some cartoon animals next.
I tried to colour in the daisy in with a white colouring pencil and a white gel pen but it did work so I decided to try to edit the photo in photoshop changing the petals to white but this doesn’t look right because of the smooth texture so I only changed one.
I found that drawing the orchids was difficult I really struggled to find a type of orchid to draw in this style. I also had some issue trying to differentiate between the gerberas, sunflower and daisy drawings. I won’t be continuing drawing flower because while I like the end results I am focusing in on animals and this was very time consuming due to the difficulty I had drawing them.
