For branding I’ll need a logo and for that I can use some of my old art to help me find an art style as I tend to always use most of the same colours and style. I can add any appropriate images, ones that pertain to the podcast. I can also make a little animation displaying the title in a splash of colour. For the animation and logo design I will use Krita. So I have now designed 2 potential logos for the podcast. As you can see above. The first one is a little bit too messy for a small logo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have asked a few people at home and in my class about the the logo’s and they all tend to agree that the second one is better but to have the first one as a banner and I agree and do plan to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m now wanting to incorporate and use the first design as a background image in lieu of a video. If I have enough time I’ll try to animate that but only if I have enough time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think I found a name for the podcast: Movies, Shows and Stuff. I believe this fits quite well with the podcast as I will be talking about Movies, Shows and well other stuff. The other stuff being the makings of, troubles with production or the ideas that were scraped during preproduction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

E.g: Actors wanted for the role, characters made\/written, story-broads, early screenplays and unused\/considered concept art and scripts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital Platforms<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My initial plan was to distribute it using YouTube and nothing else but after talking to friends and peers they said that I should also use other apps and websites. They mostly suggested for me to use TikTok but TikTok only allows a max of 3 minute videos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve uploaded it onto YouTube. (It’s quite rough and I’m still actively editing it)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the video as a joke I say ‘don’t forget to leave a like’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recording<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’ll be recording in my own home with my own equipment. The audio formant will be an mp3 file (MP4 now that I’ve added some visuals). And if we\\ if we’re allowed I’ll record it on my camera as a way to add visuals however if I can’t\\ not allowed to use a camera I’ll just add the necessary images on screen and I’ll use an audio que to indicate that there’s something on screen. It’ll probably be uploaded to YouTube and any other apps\/websites that we are supposed to use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve used Audacity to record the audio and Davinci Resolve to edit and add sounds and effects. The microphone I’ve used is the Rode Videomic NTG it’s a mini boom mic with plug and play features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I planned to add some visual flare to the video by adding really crude character drawings of my guests. I still plan to add that. I believe this will be a great way to keep audience retention rate and it’s a good way to add some visual comedy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
