  • no drinks near cables or instruments
  • trip hazards
  • noise/ear damage
  • fire hazard
  • crushing
  • heavy lifting
  • RSI

Many damages can happen like someone could get hurt very badly.

Here’s some more information about hearing damage :  http://www.hse.gov.uk/noise/musicsound.htm

Trip Hazard= this can be very dangerous for musicians due to the cables being all over the place or them being tangled and therefore there is a bigger risk for the musicians to trip over them. However it can be also very difficult for the musicians to move around due to the cables being placed wrong.

Drinks = It is very important that we keep drinks away from the instruments and cables this is due to damaging the instruments but also damaging the cables.

Heavy Lifting= if u don’t know how to lift up something heavy you can get injured very easily and therefore if something is too heavy for you don’t try to lift it up if you know you won’t be able to. It is very important you let someone else to do it or ask for help.

Health and safety is very important because we need to be aware of all the accidents that can happen. For example during the performance something can fall down and it can hurt someone which already in many cases had happen and the person has died. So we need to be aware and check everything before the performance so no one can get hurt. Another example can be fire, this can be caused by the effects some musicians use when they perform live , this would not only affect the performers but also the audience if they are close to the stage.

Here’s an article I found that talks about different accidents https://www.gigwise.com/photos/92907/enrique-iglesias-cuts-hand-open-on-drone-during-gig—video=
