Pop

The song has many different levels at the beginning Demi sings it very quietly but then she starts to build up towards the pre chorus and then at the chorus she does this throughout the song . Every time she starts to sing the chorus she builds more on each one. She also only uses a piano in ths whereas in the original song she used instruments like drums,violin and flute. However in this live performance she sings with more passion and holds the high notes much longer. She also uses her hands while she is singing and this shows that she’s s trying to understand all the words in the song and tries to express them and all the emotions. This song is in a minor key which mean that is a very sad song . Demi has a very high vocal range,she shows it through this song all the way through by changing the levels of the song but also adding more high notes to it.

In this performance she is performing at Billboards Women in Music infront of a big audience. The audience is very quiet and they all feel the emotions of the song. This shows that she is trying to communicate with the audience and want them to understand the song. This also shows that she is very confident with performing infront of big audience because she knows how to communicate with the crowd. The song is very sad so the singer can’t move a lot however Demi uses her hands and facial expressions to perform the song this shows that he is experienced with presenting her songs no matter what’s the tonality of them. She is also performing  in a big building. The lightening matches with the song . The background is dark but as she starts to sing louder the lights get lighter. However the lights re only focusing on the stage not on the audience.

 

Dynamics = The beginning of the song is very quiet but then towards the chorus it’s gets gradually louder. However after the chorus the song gets quiet again and then again it builds up and gets gradually louder this emphasises that she knows how to use her voice and on which parts she should express her vocals more.

Jazz

This jazz live performance is performed in Brighton. It starts of with the introduction of trumpets and an electric guitar. Then the male vocalists start the song with clapping joined with harmonies. This song is played in major key.  The singers use their hands to create the beat with drums throughout the song. Also the singers harmonise as they play in perfect timing . They are performing in a very small room with no audience apart from the people recording them. The background is based on the early 60s also their outfits too.  However the lighting is normal there are no special effects apart of the way the video is recorded using different angles and concentrating on the singers and instruments.

Dynamics= the volume is medium not loud but also not quiet. However the singers add more volume on ome of the words they sing. The drums are the same volume as the clapps. Their voices are the same volume.

Classical 

This symphony has many changes of keys  at the begging it starts in a major key. However then it changes into minor key and then back to major. Violins start the symphony then they are joined by cello and a fluet playing a single note. This symphony is performed in a very big place full of people. The musicians are controlled by the conductor. The lights are mostly  set on the musicians .

Dynamics= the volume of  the song starts of quit but then it gradually gets louder however then it goes gradually back to quiet .
