This was the first version of my song called ‘Mine’ I was just playing around and improvising how I can make the song interesting and catchy so people will actually like it, as I was playing this to Nic he told me we need to make it more catchy and I agree with him. In my opinion, the song does need a catchy rhythm and a chorus so we first started to work on the chorus and the first verse. The song below is what we created in less than 30 min.
This is what we have done in less than 30 min obviously it’s not perfect and there are thousands of improvements that we have to make but I think that in a short amount of time we did create a catchy melody and a chorus. From my singing point of view I have to work on the high notes so they will sound clear and not like I’m hurting my vocal-chords.
This the very first take of my song called ‘Mine’ we only managed to figure out the verse and chorus, as you can hear I started to sing the second verse but the words didn’t really fit with the rhythm. This is probably one of the hardest songs I ever written. I need to figure out how I will sing the second verse and if there will be a bridge a key change or new chorus. I really want to make this song catchy and interesting.

This my first rehearsal of the song ‘Without You’ with Nic I forgot the words in the first verse and sang the wrong words. However, I think that for our first rehearsal it sounded pretty good. From the singing point of view I have to make sure I know the words and I need to make sure the high notes are clear when I think. Overall, I think that there’s no need for any changes in the song.
This rehearsal was much better than the first. I managed to get the whole together and even added a bridge. There is still a lot to improve on like on the high I personally don’t like how they sound it sounds to me like I’m trying too hard so I really need to work on that. Also I need to make sure I remember the words and also work a little on the bridge maybe take some words out and work on the notes and how I’m going to sing them.

I don’t have a lot of rehearsal videos as most of the time I didn’t feel well and I had to go home so I quickly rehearsed and went home. I didn’t have a lot of rehearsing time but I always knew what I had to improve on next time.
