I also aim to organise, promote and market the end of year showcase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">objectives<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Showcase<ol><li>Research local venues &#8211; including equipment, capacity and space<\/li><li>Decide on a date, time and venue<\/li><li>Research health and safety and conduct a risk assessment<\/li><li>Liaise with showcase acts and performers to produce an equipment list<\/li><li>Experiment with different set designs and layouts<\/li><li>Experiment with different seating arrangements (where applicable)<\/li><li>Finalise arrangements for seating and staging<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Promotion<ol><li>Research different posters and artwork<\/li><li>Research different social media promotion techniques<\/li><li>Research how to target specific audiences<\/li><li>Research ways to market a show within the community<\/li><li>Research innovative ways to promote and market a showcase<\/li><li>Research how to use different tools within photoshop<\/li><li>Experiment with different ideas and colour schemes within promotional materials<\/li><li>Experiment with different tools and overlays within photoshop<\/li><li>Create a ticket link ready to add to promotional materials<\/li><li>Share ticket link amongst students and staff within the arts building<\/li><li>Finalise designs for promotional materials<\/li><li>Begin social media promotion<\/li><li>Begin promotion in and around college<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Performance<ol><li>Listen to different songs and artists to inspire a set list<\/li><li>Contact potential vocalists<\/li><li>Research techniques to improve the complexity of playing with my left hand<\/li><li>Begin rehearsing different songs and ideas<\/li><li>Create and develop a setlist<\/li><li>Rehearse setlist individually and with vocalist<\/li><li>Continue rehearsals in preparation for final showcase<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>aim The aim of my project is to plan and execute a live music performance on the piano, accompanying a vocalist using complex left hand parts.
