However, Tom seems to make some subtle gestures towards them such as nodding his head and smiling, so this may show that they are communicating with him and each other through their body language<\/li><li>He does communicate with the audience often, asking them to sing along. He turns around in his seat so he is facing them at some points too<\/li><li>At one point, he gestures to someone outside of the camera and points to his piano, so it is clear that he is able to clearly communicate with both his band and his team effectively using body language<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Stage Presence<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The lighting starts off quite subtle, with just a few spotlights on Tom and his piano<\/li><li>Once the band start to play\/backing vocals are added, the lighting has some more motion, and there are lights on the band as well as Tom<\/li><li>The white and bright lighting is enhanced by the white curtains in the background<\/li><li>The staging set up seems to be quite simple from what I can see. This alongside the simple lighting (no different colours etc.) gives the impression that Tom wants his audience to focus more on the music that any other element of the show<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Musical Competency<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tom performs the song no different to how it was recorded<\/li><li>The performance is well arranged and tight.
