I really like the mix for this track. I chose to pan the guitar and piano so that both could be heard at the same time. I like how all of the instruments can be heard, and how full the piece sounds.
The only problem we had with the track is that we didn’t have enough time to add a vocalist. Even though the lyrics were already written, it was very difficult to arrange studio time with a vocalist. I think communication between the band and vocalists is something that should be improved in future projects. However, I hope we can add vocals onto the track at a later date.
I really like the track as a whole, and I enjoyed the whole process of composing, recording and mixing it. I think that as an instrumental, the track still works very well and it is something we should be proud of as a band.
