For my final project, I chose to plan and organise the end of year showcase, whilst documenting everything in several different mediums across my digital portfolio. I have researched into different areas, including risk assessments and promotion. I have kept detailed logs of my promotion and graphic design, as well as any rehearsals and preparation for the showcase. Most of the skills required to complete this project I obtained within Project 1, but this gave me the opportunity to develop them further.
Events are extremely relevant to the music industry, they are how many people prefer to engage with their favourite artists, hear live music, or even discover someone/something new. The events industry is growing rapidly, especially post-pandemic. I wanted to develop my skills within this area as it is something I take interest in. Taking on several different job roles has allowed me to work out where my time should be prioritised, and how to maintain a good balance between many different tasks, all strengths which I can take on to future projects.
